NC Policy
We are committed to promoting Nigerian content in the oil and gas industry in compliance with the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development (NOGICD) Act of 2010. Our Nigerian Content Policy is designed to enhance local capacity building, maximize the participation of Nigerian professionals and suppliers and contribute to the overall economic development of Nigeria. We recognize the vital role of local content in driving national growth, creating jobs and fostering sustainable industrial development.
We are dedicated to ensuring that Nigerian human and material resources are fully utilized in our operations and projects. Our commitment to Nigerian content is built around the following principles: Local workforce development; Local supplier engagement; Technology/knowledge transfer; capacity building and economic impact. Our key focus areas are Human Capital development (local employment, training and development, graduate internship programmes), Supplier and Vendor development (local procurement, partnerships with local suppliers, SME support & development), Technology transfer and innovation (knowledge sharing, collaboration with local institutions, use of Nigerian operational facilities) Community development (host community engagement), compliance and reporting (NC Plan, performance monitoring and local content target achievement). Our NC policy is in belief that it will promote and support national development.
